No one can answer that question for you. Unfortunatley we cannot choose who we like, but they don't always choose us stay with us or we sometimes have to choose to leave... even if we still love them. My suggestion to you is try to keep moving forward as best you can, it's really not very healthy to think about them all the time and dwell on it. No one but you can tell YOU to get over it! . You just fell for them, scraped your knee Just pick yourself up brush yourself off and keep walking forward. "Time heals all wounds." ( Easier said then done )

Try to keep yourself busy for a while, and put some time and distance between you and your ex. I think you might have to "mourn" the loss of the relationship somewhat if you truly loved your ex. Keep looking trying to or be open to meeting new people, as there are a lot of people out there who are lonely or are trying to forget someone as you are. Good luck!!

Posting this question under philosophy topic.. Does that mean "-ex" stands for some ancient school of thought?

If you need philosophy to heal emotional wounds, you might as well try cutting liquid water with a knife..

Move on with your life. Know that some people are in your life for a reason and some for a season. Don't try to old on to seasonal people. Let them go wen they are ready to depart. And don't dwell on it. Find something else to do. OK?

If you love him than it's not possible to forget him no matter what he is or no matter how he has behaved(but i have an impression that love has nothing to do with western people)

Move on to someone else or find some other things to focus on, be it work or other stuff. Expand your social circle. After a while, it'll just fade.

Move on. Take on a new hobby, meet new people. Take a road trip.
