He had one of the best voices for imitators. He was very entertaining and will be missed.

My boyfriend is an animal lover and loves the Steve Irwin show...it was through my boyfriend that I got to know about the show which shows on cable TV here in Singapore. I always admired his immense love for animals and the wildlife, his sense of humour and the way he used to say "Crikey!". His passion for the wildlife was very apparent from the way he used to present himself on his shows...of how much he knew about the different animals in different parts of the world and how natural and comfortable he was in the wildlife while filming his documentaries for each episode...I remember a particular episode in which his Australia Zoo was flooded during very heavy rain in Australia once and how very concerned he was for the safety and well-being of the animals in his zoo and the efforts that the zoo staff and him took to ensure that everything was alright at the zoo during that period of heavy rain....I was very touched by his kindness towards the animals..."Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin to me was a man who will be remembered for his passion and immense love and courage for the various conservation efforts for the wildlife that he undertook....He will be dearly missed and I am really saddened by the news of his death and how his family especially his young kids will be without their dad...Despite the sad news, we all can still smile and feel proud of a man who accomplished so much and whose legacy will live on....God bless his soul.May he rest in peace.

To me he was an idiot, and now his outrageous stupidity has cost his wife and kids, great going.
