It seems this never gets on the news or if it does it is silenced very quickly, is it to touchy a subject for the public?

Way touchy.I live in Montana not far from where Matthew Shepherd was killed.Think of Broke Back Mountain if you saw it. Not so much different here now. Very political. The President and congress want to change the constitution for heavens sake!People just don't understand that gays are just like everyone else. They pay taxes,go to work, want families, put their shoes on one foot at a time. Its time for people to get over it!! I don't know why gay bashing isn't in the news..neither is domestic violence or child abuse much.No guys I`m not gay. I have alot of gay friends, but I am just sick at the way this country is handling the gay rights issues.

The same reason millions of children die each year of hunger while nations spend billions on wars and arms - apathy.

Go right ahead make some news. It is our individual responsibility too, to give voice to the voiceless and the unheard.

They do on occasion when it leads to death. Remember the name Matthew Shepherd (I think that is his name, anyway)?
