We know it isnt real, we know its just sports entertainment. We know its as fake as it can possibly get. We just like to watch it. Its no different than watching any other tv show like E.R. or House or anything else that isnt real. If it makes you feel all better inside to do it then take a look at something people could insult you about. Everyone has something.

ER and house and WWE are all fake. but the thing is, WWE is so fake even jessica simpson herself would say WWE is faker than her boobs.....

I just laugh when they continually type "it's fake" in all caps as if this is a startling revelation. We've been saying it's fake for a long time, but we enjoy it and it's better than us say...actually beating the tar out of people to get our kicks. Not that violence is our reason but it's one example. Some watch for the entertainment of larger than life charecters, some for the athleticism and beyond belief moves that we will never forget and some watch it to escape the monotony of daily life. Whatever the reasons it makes us no less worthwhile. And for all those who call wrestling fans losers? Call Mike Tyson, Ben Rothlesburger, Eminem and the countless Armed Forces personnel who have been spied with other celebrities at live events and tell THEM they are losers and that they suck.
I'd pay money to see that confrontation.

I completely agree. WWE is just like a soap opera. We know that. If other women can watch a woman be posessed, and child that was 5 years old last week suddenly become and adult, and people coming back from the dead, I can watch wrestling.

Ok. lol. this is like all the other questions out here but you actually have a good point. I don't like to call it fake though because they really do get hurt, they train everyday and miss most of the holiday's with their families. I agree with you 100%. WE (everybody who actually watches it) knows it is pre-planned. THat is why the word world wrestling ENTERTAINMENT is in the title. Duh! But, don't call it fake because they really do work hard. Until any of you wwe haters are on the road all year and train hard everyday, don't call it fake thanks!

HEY!! i love jessica simpsons boobs! haha, j/p (though they are great) but seriously, i dont even watch wrestling for the "entertainment" value of it anymore. I myself am training to become a pro wrestler, and watch wrestling to get into the moves, learn more about moves and promos and see how the workings of the biz go on screen, more often than actually enjoying the program. I know whats real and whats not, lol, even more than most smarks that think they know whats real and not. Why? cuz ive experienced it, lol. I love wrestling and if i didnt have it?... idk what i'd do.

yeah, especially when people dont have a clue about what they are talking about they just write in caps lock something like 'WRESTLING IS FAKE YOU SADDOES' but they usually always spell things wrong. movies are fake but people still watch them? so what if wrestling is fake? does it make any difference? no. i also hate it when people dont give wrestlers the respect that they are due for putting their bodies on the line countless times, yes, it is fake, but people do get hurt, badly. give them the respect that they have earned

let me tell you that there is nothing fake about the injuries that ended my career and that of many others.............how the hel.l do you fake a chair shot to the head or a fall from the top turn buckle or crashing through a table...some people are real idiots to set and call it fake but thats what idiots do
