Some people might suggest Salem, Massachusetts, as the Witch Museum is there, and that is where some women were hanged for supposedly being witches-! In modern day times, I would guess that any city which has a very high crime rate would be "scary" by today's standards-!!

I found newyork is the scariest city in the US, it was very fearfull after ten in newyork penn station

Never been there but heard a great deal about Detroit.
But there are places in any city that you need to stay away from.
Take my city, I know of one community the Cops hate to go into.
