There are quite a few factory outlets on the Gold Coast
There is a Billabong Outlet in Ashmore and also one on Reedy Creek Road in Burleigh.
As someone else mentioned Kirra Surf has a lot of bargain surf gear and City Beach has a large outlet at Harbour Town on Brisbane Road, Labrador.
Byrning Spears has a surfwear outlet on Currumbin Creek Road.

there is a seconds store. not just damaged items, although they are not really damaged, maybe a mark or two on them, but they also have items that didn't sell all that well at cheap prices. if you take the exit before the nerang river and turn right, follow that road until the trees start to thin out and you will come to a set of lights with a trucking company on your right and some shops on your left. turn left, and go between the two first buildings and you will see it in the building on the right.

I'd try Harbor Town, it was a pretty full on outlet mall. I loved it!
