I googled it and tried different wording, but couldn't find a result for largest high school in the U.S. I found the largest in Los Angeles, which is Belmont Sr. High School with 5,300 students. This could possibly be the largest since California is the most populous state, but I'm not sure.
Yay! I found something. It is the top ten schools by enrollment for the school year 2003-2004. Belmont is indeed the largest with 5,299, but it is tied with Elizabeth HS in Elizabeth, NJ.
