Myoglobin stores oxygen for metabolic processes in muscle. chemical analysis shows that it contains 0.34 percent Fe by mass. what is the molar mass of myoglobin? (there is one Fe atom per molecule.)

Fe has a molecular weight of 55.85, so the MW of myoglobin must be 55.85/.0034=16426. So it's quite a big molecule.

The above answer is correct except that there are no units.

You asked for molar mass - so the molar mass in grams and scientific notation would be

1.64 x 10e4 g.
