How long have you ... and I.... got?

Short answer -- too much ego, not enough spirituality.

Slightly longer answer -- people are brought up with "conditions of worth", and don't have self-esteem. They don't realize that they are Love in a sea of Love. Learn to teach Education in Human Values www.sathyasaiehv.org.uk and you will help make peace.

I think violence , abusive and corrupt society is the tree who seed was planted by there ancestors. And most important of all lack of education is not the cause of the outcome and the example of it is the fast growing violence in American schools. This issue is because of that we do not produce the good men in the world we are making children education because when they grow up they start earning money very fast instead we should treat them to first become good humans then we money earners. This race of earning money has actually demolished the human and society values.

If people would stop lying, manipulating, and decieving then peaceful, docile people like me wouldn't turn into angry, violent, fed up people.

People need to be more open-mided, truthful, and compassionate. No one cares anymore, and honestly, I think it's getting worse and has no hope of getting better. It's nice that you want to help the world, but it's sooooo hopeless. Sorry for the gloomy outlook.

We, the sane and civilized people of the world are not "against peace," and you should be directing your questions to the wrong people of the world, such as terrorists, Hezbollah, and entities of this nature. Unfortunately, they're probably not on Yahoo Answers, but then who knows, maybe they are.

Anger: because of fear, helplessness, and loneliness.

Violence: lack of options, no other teachings.

Abusive: selfishness, fear, complacency.

To put it simply.
