anybody who puts themselves in the situations he did on a consistant basis is taking a chance beyond commom sense. and you want me to start crying? i think not.

You know everyone is saying "you should feel sorry for his kids" Well I did feel sorry for his kids. Steve Irwin did nothing but jeopardize their welfare. He took stupid risks and he paid for those risks with his life. If you ask me that is justice.

I don't think you should feel sorry for him. Unlike most of us he died doing what he really enjoys and in the manner or spectacle that he would appreciate. I think at any level you can just be slightly bummed that someone who actually seemed pretty cool is gone while there are so many evil people still hanging around.

Every human life has value. Celebrity doesn't matter. And neither does the fact that someone is a crazy risk-taker. A person is a person -- with value, no matter what.

exactly. But my daughter is upset and alot of kids would be and there are fatherless kids now. However, he risked that kid's life for publicity, just like JACKO. Anyway, he died doing what he loved; how many people are so lucky?

you are such a low life person he is the most nicest person in the world and he des this for our own discoveries he is the best presenter and we should be sad also because he has a 3 yr old son and 8 year old daughter u r such a low life

What a lovely person you are. He had a family, and people who loved him, and now he's dead. A decent human being should be able to understand that.
He wasn't out there hurting people, he was entertaining them and trying to educate them about animals, especially those that people were afraid of. What have you done for us lately.

Totally true, it is the same with Christopher Reeve getting paralyzed because he was doing tricks on his horse. Boo hoo, right? You make the choice to do something risky, it's your fault if you injure yourself, right?

No one says you have to cry, but he did help people become more aware of animals and the effect we have on their habitat
