Is there any way to wear fake earrings if your ears are sensitive?

Other than nickel free metals?

I don't mean fake as in clip ons. I mean fake as not real gold or silver.

I have 8 pierecings..and sensitive ears as well...they're always getting infected but I don't let them get to the point where ppl can actually see that it is- just buy real ones...gold or w/e...you can try what i do...soak my ear and earings with rubbing alcohol..put a dab of vaseline not too much... and go out the door...as soon as I get back..i take them out...or I might even do it at a friend's house

A company called "Simply Whispers" sells very reasonable hypoallergenic ear rings, but they also sell things like hypoallergenic posts and loops that you could use on your inexpensive jewelry to replace whay actually contacts your ears.

Post type you would have to remove and glue on the posts, but hoop and U-type dangles would be super simple to switch over. A U-shaped loop costs only $2.98 a pair, to give you an idea.

There are quite a few companies that sell inexpensive jewelry that should be OK for you and your sensitivities as well. One company, AAA Jewelry, also sells a clear protective coating you can paint on your earrings and prevent them from contacting the skin. They also sell hypoallergenic backs.

You could get clip on earrings, and I think there are magnetic earrings too.
