Dear Brainstorm.......
Its also the choices of those who go to Iraq and to be so rude as to point out the obvious i dont think that we can honestly say that being in Iraq is not helping anyone and for those who are there we ( canada ) are going to support them no matter what. But we dont have to agree with there choices. Because ultimatly it is there choice to join the army or not.

Those innocent people are not guilt on our hands but the ones who are at war with each other. I will remember them. But lets not forget about the people who are trying to fight for our world and its economy like Steve. Wars dont last forever so last forever and the way things are going our world wont as well. There is a bigger picture out there, and we are living on it!

Let me just say that after all is said to Brainstorm that it is sad and i send my regards to his family. Though im sure that one small person like me doesnt begin to show about all the people who feel surrow for his family. To them i am greatly sad about their loss. And hope that good will come out of this tradgedy for his family as well as the for the world he was trying to help.

Brainstorm - Good name, cause your brain obviously is not wired right. Do folks sometimes wonder if they have your attention when talking to you?
RIP _ Steve Irwin. You brought many good topics to peoples attention and will be missed greatly.

I AM SO F*CKING SAD I PRACTICALLY CRIED WHEN I HEARd HE HAD DIED!!!
i remember the most touching moment of the series, it was when this crocodile (female) died and she was really close or wateva to Steve. So then he started crying so bad, and at the funeral it was oo depressing, especially when he said that one day when he is lying in his grave, ppl will hopefully realize the threats crocodiles and other animals are put out to and help. i bet he didnt expect the death part to happen so soon.... omg its soo sad i still cant believe it. i mean, hes actually dead. non existent...
And what surprised me that it was a stingray. i mean, he was in cages with many crocodiles, sttole their eggs, played around with venimous snakes... and then he gets killed by a sting ray, which about 17 ppl have ever died of. 17 in the entire world. and stevey had to be one of em...
And he just had a lil son i think and he will never get to see him, and imagine if the video of his death comes out and the lil boy will be sitting there going, whos that mommy? and then the mom has to switch off the tv and say, ill tell you when ur older, honey. then ull understand.
OMG SO DEPRESSING!
THIS IS SOO DEPPRESSING!!!!!!!!!!!
AHHHHHH!!!!!

I am basically an animal lover and I been following Steve's shows back home in Singapore for so many many years. I watched him every night at 2am on animal planet. The passion he has for animals amazed me and captured me all these years. The strangest part about it is that animals know when you don't mean any harm to them. It is a real freak way to die especially killed by such a gentle creature like the stingray.
Steve has been my hero all these years and never failed to put a smile on my face when I was watching his shows. loving the reptile world as I do, Steve has brought me so much closer to them and all other animals, that animals around me can sense that and hang out with me when they are around me. For example, when I am at the beach where the dogs run free. They will all come sit or rest beside me while I am sun tanning while their owners frantically look for them round the beach. I never realized it till one owner asked me, 'How come my dog keeps coming around to sit with u? Are u feeding him any treats?' my reply was, 'nope, don't have anything to give them but just my company.' which made me realize that how well an animal can pick up your love for them.
Which I saw so much in Steve. He will always be my hero and educator. Will be missing him lots, missing all that passion he has for animals and life! Good on you mate!
Cheers! Steve!
P.S.
I moved to the gold coast not too long ago from Singapore and I have been planning a trip to go to Steve's Zoo to catch him life in action, hmmm, well I guess I missed that chance...... :(
he was one reason that made me move to australia too
But at least he passed on doing what he loved doing......

I was shocked! Especially how it happened; Steve Irwin was a man who recognized the need for people to be "taught" about animal behavior and what's required for their salvation, as well; He'll be sorely missed and my heart and prayers go out to his wife, kids and dad...as well as all his friends and those who took part in his adventures...Goodbye, Steve...God bless!

It is sad to loose an icon such as The Crocodile Hunter. I am sorry for his family, especially the children who are so young. He died doing what he loved.... His use of the word "crikey" never failed to crack me up....he will be missed.

I couldn't believe it when I saw it this morning.
To our Australian friends my condolences.
Earth will miss this brave and outspoken voice for the animals.
I hope Steve Irwin is facing this new adventure with the same verve and vitality He faced life.
Crikey, what a ride!

It's terrible... but that's how nature works, you will never know how it will react. The only "positive" fact is that he died doing what he loved the most, he had the death most adventurers wish, but it was way too soon, specially for his family.
Rest in peace...
