During his first press conference, SteveM cClaren accidentally said that the gates wouldd never be open for Beckham. Do u think he was conveying a message to everyone or was it just a slip-up?

Do you want beckham back in the team?

That was defo a slip up. There is still the possibility of Beckham being recalled. Tob be honest if Phil Neville has snuck back into the team then i'll probably have a answer phone message from Steve McLaren about my call up for Macedonia on wed.

I believe Beckham to be a very one dimensional player. He has tremendous ability from dead ball situations and nobody can question his passing ability and fitness levels. However with the attacking and free flowing style of play that McLaren wants to play, I don't believe this suits Beckham and he would not fit into the setup at all.

Its best he moves over and allows exciting younger talents such as Aaron Lennon and Shaun Wright-Phillips to impress on the big stage.

Yes it was slip of tongue or may be he intentionally slipped it ...as we have seen him focusing on young guns who were miserable in world cup example rooney, gerard to name a few. Beckham is out of form and shape so i think he has to work really hard to get there in team again,Yes all wants him back..Best of luck Beckham.

It might be in the centre of the pitch, if Beckham does come back at all.
David is still only 31 and I think he still has a lot to offer his country

Beckham got to alot to prove if he wants to be in contention for a place in England again.
But I don't think he can take the indignity of not being in the lineup after being a regular for so long. So I think the best thing for himself is to retire in grace.

i dont know. i love beckham, but i think the team will fair better with the younger talent. they need the opportunity to build up experience and skill for the years to come in the future.
