Stingray barb right through the heart. Though break. He has kid too.

I heard it only an hour ago..I didn't even know what to think of when i heard it though. Here's a guy who pretty much risks his life for a living, then one day he just happens to be in the wrong place and gets a sting ray barb right in the heart. Definitely sucks to go out that way. But what can we do about it now? Unfortunately nothing more but grieve and remember all those life-risking moments with alligators.

He has two kids. Bindi is eight and Bob is almost three. I could'nt believe it when I saw the headlines. My son said that it was bound to happen. I never thought from a stingray though. I feel really bad for Terri and the kids.

The poor guy was only 44 and I bet he will be really missed by everyone who knoew him. I'm on holiday down under at the moment and was planning to dive on that reef - perhaps I should just stay on dry land now this has happened.

You would have thought it would have been an aggressive animal. They say stingray injuries usually happen when you step on one. Weird the things he did with other animals. I feel bad for his family.

the absolute tradgedy about this is that he left behind two small children and a wife. i am in no way saying he deserved this, because he didn't, but he knew the risks of his career and still decided to do what he did. i only wish he had put his family before his career. he was entertaintaing and informative and may he rest in peace.

i am wondering why it even shocks anyone. we all watched to see if he was going to biten.what is sad is that all that is thought of is this famous guy is dead. he left his wife and kids behind,with alot of security no doubt but thier hearts have to be broken

I just found out. He died doing something he was very passionate about. I always thought he would die by croc, since that was his main passion. Thoughts, and condolences to his grieving family.
