If it is just running hot,and not overheating, you could possibly have a cooling fan prob..also,make sure the waterpump is not worn out-older accords and civics are known to wear the impeller away and not push coolant anymore.does it run cooler at higher speeds? that indicates a fan not working also. you may also have a blockage in the radiator,or a head gasket leaking.then you can check the timing.oh, by the way-are you aware that there is a cooling system bleeder? it has to be bled when you have to add a large amount of coolant(overheat). if all else fails, contact me at willoroy@yahoo.com- I can question you and help you rsolve your problem

check the fan...flush the radiator with a cleaner...actually run the car with the cleaner in it so to clean out the head too...check the heater core...all hoses...did you replace the thermostat or the radiator cap also cause the thermostat is different...cut the mix down of water in the fluid/use more radiator fluid than water 70:30 mix...take it to a mechanic if all else fails, or find a friend that is mechanic or knows one (someone knows someone ya know...maybe they can hook it up) how could I forget the water pump...it won't always cause the car to stall unless it is jammed and won't allow the cam to turn (depending on what turns it though) but it could be that to if the water isn't flowing then ya it will run hot.

Most likely the water pump if you havent changed that.
The water pump would not cause your car to stall, i don't know what the 2nd guy is saying. Change the water pump it only costs a fraction of what a radiator does.
Remember that the water pump and alternator are the 2 parts in an automobile that have the shortest life.

The thermostat could be installed backwards. The lower radiator hose could be collapsed or low fluid.
Assuming the cooling system is OK, check your timing. It could be to advanced.
