i have recieved an email from cbnlottodept05@yahoo.com revealing notification of winning eight hundred thousand us dollors and i am directed to depposite $ 850 to collect the prize.

This is absolutely SPAM. For some reason, I too have gotten this email...I've also gotten one from England, an elderly rich lady with bank accounts all over the world, and countless others. I'm not sure which site I visited that initiated all of this, but do not for one second entertain the idea of responding to this. I'm including a web site for things such as this. I asked the same question! this link will lead you to lottery fraud email info.

Stop being stupid or greedy.Many of these emails are not necesarily from Nigerians.Sure they are fakes.Dupes.Fraudsters.Even Nigerians receive them.CBN nigeria does not have operate any lottery division/dept.

Lotteries do not require you to send money to get money.

Lotteries don't use FREE YAHOO EMAIL ADDRESSES to send notification.

REPORT THE EMAIL TO YAHOO AS SPAM, AND FORGET ABOUT IT.
