Yes, we all have been in existence since the beginning, or maybe always. We have lived in heaven before, and we will live there again when we die. Earth is just our temporary home, a place to learn valuable lessons before we go back.

Why are you asking this question ?

Life is there.
Don't worry about death. Just live, live good, live happily and
rationally the best way you can.

What is death ? I think it is just an event that we observe in the world. Without life how can one witness death ?

So there is life and death is insignificant.
Life is important and live happily, properly.

There is no need to waste $35 for some book as the other guy suggested. There are millions of books and one can not buy wisdom for $35.

So why waste $35 ?

Life is there, Death is just a creation of mind.
An evil creation ... one should stay away from !

When you awaken, dear soul, you will see that Life exists.
Death will vanish into thin air.

You will awaken to the reality when the right time comes.
To see Life as a reality.
Till then live happily, to the best way you can,
be true to yourself, love yourself, avoid doing bad or wrong things.

All the best in your quest for the reality.
Where Death has no significance.

For what is that is.

Yes, life is a progression - both before and after death. A dry seed becomes a live tree, and its fruit dries out and falls off, each time with more experience and adaptability.

Maybe as we perceive it and with that limited perception we would call it life. But I can't get over the idea that there has to be way the diddly more than this, than an afterlife even. This must be what an insect would feel like if it were to begin to become aware of the enormity of what's around it.

Wait a second...
It may seemed like life ends, death takes over.
It is actually more like death has always been there, just that life disturbs it and then things return to normal.
So, what is before death?
Nothing I suppose.

Life is not the opposite of death.

If death had an opposite, it would be birth.

Birth and death are parts of life.

Life just is. Inclusive of everything.
