So why aren't americans farming?

Actually hemp is good it can be used to produce many products, such as paper it is cheap and easy to grow and grows rapidly compared to trees, it can also be used to make close, ropes, string, etc.etc. beleive it or not Americans do farm it just in small quanitys for some reason its a touchy situation for the government
