I would look forward to bully once more...lol & then hug all of them with tears in my eyes. I miss them all.

Hostility, at least from any ex-victim who's developed a sense of self-worth in the meantime.

I like the exchange between the ex-victim and the ex-bully (a woman) in the movie "Beautiful Girls." Ex-victim corners her and says, remember me? "You used to call me Peter the Eater. You made me cry." She smiles dismissively and says, "Did I? I'm sorry." He then says, "You were really something in those days, Darien..." pauses while she starts expecting a compliment..."But, you should pardon me for saying...mean as a snake. Yes, mean as a snake."

My paraphrase is not word-for-word accurate, I'm sure, but very near. I thought Peter the Eater handled that one very well.

If you were the class bully, prepare to suck up like a shop vac to the victimized. Believe me, they'll remember. My class's bully, likewise mean as a snake from age 12 through at least 18, has become an ostentatious Christian. I hope at least one person at the next reunion will ask her if she's ready to turn the other cheek in good Christian fashion and then slap her into the nearest wall.

Most class bullies don't really make much of their lives because bullying others is very often a mechanism of hiding their own insecurities and character flaws. Ten years down the line most people have generally productive lives where the class bullies are mostly pot-bellied, overweight and battling alcoholism.

The class bully should expect to be pretty embarrassed and have their failures exposed to everyone. Their victims will enjoy it thoroughly.

Some people have a hard time letting things go. Others realize as they grow up that kids do dumb things. I'm assuming from the question that you were the class bully and that you're no longer like that, so just try to show that you've genuinely changed, but don't expect everyone to be responsive to that.

Many of my classmates will surely be old and matured enough to forgive a bully. Only mentally retarded people would avenge theirselves against bullies.

A butt kickin. Wait until the 20 year reunion and you'll be OK.

Expect people to avoid you. Being a bully isn't nice. I hope you have changed.

To realise that most of the people you picked on for being losers/nerds/dickheads more successful, happy, stable and rich than you.
