someone else has to pull a gun on you to meet the equal force rule, but if your gun isn't properly registered then you can be arrested for that.

I believe that in most states, you are justified at using a gun against another person if (and only if) you feel that this person poses an immediate threat to your life or the life of someone else.

depends on the state. in some states the process for legally aquiring a gun is so difficult it is an effective gun ban, so you can never use a gun. other states allow you to shoot and kill if somebody is trespassing on your property. others allow you to shot and kill anywhere, as long as you are threatened.

Depends on the state. Some states have an 'obligation to flee' from a criminal law. In others, tresspassing can get you shot, armed or not.

depends on the state. but you need a license for the gun and the other person needs to be a threat. i don't think they necessarily have to have a gun or weapon...

get a license first. if your gun is unlicensced and you were forced by circumstances to use it in self defense then you can ask for a reduce penalty due to mitigating circumstances. kana lang.
