I just came from the philippines and I just got here in america three months ago. The education in my country is 2 years advanced compared to u.s. That makes me a "genius" in my class. You see, I'm supposed to be studying trigonometry now but a started at pre algebra again. Isn't that awesome? Anyway, I just wanna know if intelligence is a one way of being the heartthrob in school. P.S. I'm definitely not a nerd!

yeah being smart and all can be attractive in a way. Only when you rub it in other peoples faces then it just becomes a turn off and people will consider you a nerd. Along with being smart you have to have a great personality and that my friend gives you extra brownie points lol Also looks help out more. Like if you have that bad boy look then chicks would dig you or If you have a great hygiene. So if you have all of that then you will be a ladies man and have no problems getting a girlfriend ;-)

I find that very hard to believe that you are 2 years ahead...more likely you learned math in a different order than in the US...I really have my doubts if the textbooks are as recent as in the US, where most of the books are written in the first place....when I was in Manila in 2001, and went to a community library, the encyclopedias were from 1962! Nice hospitable people, but dont try to bullshit us on this higher education crap....I am married to a Filipina engineer, and her math sucks....its a paper certificate that is absolutely useless here in Canada.

You may be advanced in Math but you do need to work on writing and proofreading.
Being a genius is far more than being two years advanced in a subject.
More than that your question makes you sound conceited. Only the really lame chicks go for guys who are in love with themselves. Really hot babes fall for dudes with a great deal of humility.

No, at your age genius is not very attractive. Looks, coolness, being an Alpha male is what counts. Genius kicks in later in life if you can use your brain to make money which brings power and power is the most effective thing at attracting girls.

Being smart is not really attractive but if u just don't raise ur hand in class and help the guys wit there homework (not do it for them) so they can get 2 da football game ur sure do get the eyes of the gurls.
