The first and main inspiration of mine, is mood and recognizing the beauty that is around you. Like the old saying goes, "Stop and smell the roses." Being quiet and just letting the inspiration come to you will put magic in your hands to produce beauty in form, whether it be color on paper or glueing junk together, it can really calm the "soul."

I learned something valuable when doing a poetry course: separate what goes in from what comes out. You can be 'inspired' by anything ('inspired' - breathing in??) as long as you go out there with a receptive attitude. But when you pick up that pen (or brush, or guitar or mouse) you just let the work come out.

Everything and anything. I touch a lil of everything. I write poetry I draw and I do photography...I tend to get inspired by things and people who affect me in a good or bad way....My moods affect my art Directly...when Im happy the colors are bright and images clear...poems give hope and when Im sad or frustrated the colors are dark and stormy and images just blurs and my poems are sad and people who have read them cry sometimes when they read them cause you can tell what mood I was in ....
