I really like my exboyfriends friend. i never realized it until he and i broke up. i liked his friend from the first time i saw him, but never thought anything of it as i was so in love with my man. but each time i would see his buddy, i liked him. but in the last year i liked him more and then with our recent breakup, and he is single now too, i guess i feel he's available and so am i. i have noticed how he has looked at me in the recent past and always hugs me when he sees me. would he even go for me, or would he break the guy code? or should i even consider it.

I have been in a situation like this before. If that guy and your ex are good friends, why destroy their friendship? There are alot of guys out there, don't start trouble between friends. Sometimes it feels as if you like them but there is always a thing that just attracts a person to an ex's friend after the breakup. Maybe subconsciuosly, you want to make you ex jealous?? Also, you might be feeling lonely right now and you figure...hey! you are both single..why not. You say that he always hugs you and stuff, he probably thought you were cool when you were dating his friend and doesn't want to be all rude and not talk to you because you and your ex broke up. I wouldn't try for him for a while because if he is true to his friend and you make a move, not only will he think badly of you for trying to get w/ him right after a breakup, you may lose him as a friend too. Just give it a little time and see what happens, shop a round a little and I guarantee that you will find someone else. If not, just handg with him AS A FRIEND and let him make the move. If he likes you, he will, if not at least you will still have a friendship. Good luck

Do you think you really love him or you liked him when you saw him together with your ex bf. Some of us are so used to the fact that we are being loved and care by someone and thought that we are in love with them which may not be the actual case. You actually assume that he is single at this moment which may not be the case. What you need to do now is that you may need to wait to see if he take the initiative first. Whether will he go for you is left to him to made the decision. If he ever break the code, then I think you can consider about this relation.

I think you should re-evualte why you think you like/love him. He was always there when you were with your boyfreind at the time atleast. Out of fear of never finding another guy you unconsciously decided to have a back-up guy, a.k.a.- ur boyfreinds freind. You choose him because he was always around and was the closet connection to your then sugnificant other. When u thin about him u also think bout ur boyfreind. So when you and ur boyfrend broke up, this thought ( which, again u had from fear of not finding another guy), suraced consciously and you inturpetted it as " i love him and i never realized it" So, do you really love him or is just a misunderstood fear your latching onto?

i have a huge crush on my boyfriends best friend too. i have these dreams about him; hes just so damn cute. if i was in your situation, id probably go for it. he mustve said nice things about you to your ex while you were dating. guys always listen to there friends. if his friend thought you were hideous, you two wouldve broken up much sooner. id go for it. goodluck!
