I know in palmistry symbols have different meanings for instance people have shapes like triangles and chains and so forth.can you tell me what a cross and a star mean?

the cross is in the center of my hand the top touchs my head line ,the star is positioned right next to it it has 5 points and the cross is at the top of a line that runs down the center of my hand and then splits in to[left-right] at the bottom which would be near my wrist i have always wondered my hands are full of alll kinds of line and there isnt a clear spot on my hands meanwhile everyones hands I have seen have plenty of empty space?????

The problem with your question is, the answer depends on where these symbols are located in your hand.
If the cross is situated between two solid lines like the head and heart lines, and the cross itself does not make contact or touch either of these lines, then it could be a Saint Augustine's Cross. Having a cross like this is a very strong indication that you have either saved a life or will save a life sometime in the future.
Your star is an entirely different problem. I can't answer the question without knowing how many points it has and whether or not it makes contact with a major line.
