the female usually takes the initiative to clean up the area where sex occurred however i feel that whomever's place u do it at should clean it up

Think ahead and take a towel to bed.
yeah it is usually on her side and she has to sleep on it so its not a problem for him, rite.
do it on the towel and then it is handy to wipe with after, it works for us
