Yes i have had mental depression and panic attacks. Medication helps alot! (but be careful not to get addicted). You must learn to do things to keep ur mind off ur depression, not to let urself fall into the depression state. Work puzzles, write a friend, call a friend, take up new hobbies, etc........ do ANY THING to get ur mind off things. Keep in mind that you are going to get well and things will get better! God bless and good luck!

I had severe depression, and even with medication, it took me over 12 months to get over. And then I think it was because I finally went to counselling. I also become involved in community to work, and got out there and did stuff.
I also got up everyday and said to myself, "Today, I am going to feel a bit better and I will smile 3 times!" Stupid, but I started doing it.
I know you feel like you are at the bottom of a dark hole at the moment, and that the way out seems a long way, but there is a way out. Just remember, that once you are out, you will probably get depressed again later, so learn your warning signals, and act before it gets to bad again.

Yes I had it.It is different for people on how long they recover from it. My best answer is to either talk to a friend or a counselor about your depression. Also start running or do some type of exercise, physical activity will get your mind off of your depression. You could concentrate your time on some hobbie you enjoy to get over it also.

i've got had dental melancholy, my the teeth are killing me! Sorry, in basic terms felt the will for some get up. All 3 of my siblings are on melancholy pills and that i'm no longer. i'm somewhat specific that I might desire to/might/might desire to be clinically determined as depressed -- I stay on my own after a shattering divorce. even nonetheless I do have a solid non secular base. are you able to bear some honesty? i think of that if we've been nevertheless working interior the fields to stay alive that melancholy would not be a controversy. regardless of if is the actual hard artwork (which i think of makes a distinction) or in basic terms working to exhaustion, I dunno. yet -- get to the well being club, weed your backyard, play basketball. Our society is soooo lazy (as am I, i'm no longer preaching) that i think of we are only lacking the actual taxing on our bodies so we experience like crap.

I have had mental depression, I never took pills, If you go to my hose and my garden looks beautiful, just be certain that I have been depressed. Try to get busy on something productive and something you like doing a lot, force yourself, believe, it works.
Try not to do things you don;t enjoy, that can get you more depressed.

I guess talk to people, let the emotion out, dont try and bottle it up, embrace it.
No matter how hopeless you feel the situation is there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
