Why is it when someone is having problems in their relationship, the usual advice, response or thought is to end the relationship? Doesn't anyone believe in working on their problems? After all, it takes 2 to keep a relationship going strong, and 2 to f*ck it up.

Good question i have been married for 3 year and we fight but we work then out. My mom told me that when you get married you all of a sudden you are happy. you have to work at it and make some scarifies in your life. It is worth every minute of it. even we have our up and down. We communicate and we have love for each other. we don't even look at anybody else. I already made a choice why make another one.

yes, i agree. i just ended my relationship and now regret it. it just seemed that all the advice i would get was. leave him. well , now i am alone. but maybe if we could have tried who knows. i really don't know when its so bad to end things or not. sometimes people do need to move on and its like beating a dead horse and they stay too long. i dont know but it seems there is a lot of divorce out there

I sure believe you should try to work it out but there are certain situations where trying to work things out is pointless and a waste of time...especially when you've repeatedly given someone another chance. And also, some people find it easier to quit than try to work things out. It's their own choice. Whatever makes them happy.

I've always been the one who wanted to work things out but sometimes, things don't work out despite how hard you try.

This also reminds of Beyonce's "Ring The Alarm."
I might make him a better man by working things out and "I'll be damned if I see another chick on [his] arm" because "she gon' profit from everything I taught."

No it don't,it's take one to lose the trust of the other.Everyone has the right to be happy, you must be one of the people that f*ck up your relationship.

I think that if people don't bother to fix up something that they screwed up, it is a way of saying that they don't care enough about that relationship and just give in.

I agree with you. Ours has almost become a 'throw away' society. People should try harder to work things out and only end it as a last resort.

Depends on the problem, doesn't it? And yes, it takes 2.
Communication, trust, honesty are key pieces in relationships.
And so on and so on.......................

if they arent married or if they dont have kids, why put up with the garbage, if you have kids and all that, you need to work on it unless there is real abuse.
