Does not really matter since your burning software lets you choose which one you want to make destination drive...

But to make you happy, it makes more sense to make the CDROM your MASTER and the CD-RW your Slave,since you will burn from the Master to the Slave....

Your choice!
if you use the rom as master your burner might last a wee bit longer
as you will not always be burning when you arre reading.
an cd machines do not have unlimited lifetime

1. restart your computer
2. when its start in first screen press DEL
3. here(bios menu) look for IDE and Cd-Rom
4. you can see which one is master and slave
5. if you want to change it switch off your computer
6. open case
7. change pins on your cd-rom and cd-rw same as instruction that writed on them

Why the hel would you install both? a CD-RW is a CD-Rom.....Dont install the CD-Rom, go buy a DVD-RW/+RW
