Right before I start to actually see blood from my period, there is some brown discharge along with spots of blood and then a day or two later it's just blood. I've told a friend about it and she says it happens to her to but it happens during the end of hers. I was just wondering is this normal?

It's totally normal! That happens to be sometimes. When I was younger, I was like WTF? why is it kinda brown?? But I read a "peroid book" and found out it's normal.

Mine happens at the end as well. Each female's body is different. But if it's a true concern to you maybe you should consult w/a gynecologist.

It sounds like left over blood from your last period. But, you could ask your OB. to be safe.

Brown is ok it could be that u are exp. left over or a back up from before or it could be that your period is offset. call a dr.
