Not everyone even gets 2 days off. I have to work holidays and my boss works 6 days a week. She used to work 7 but now she has more help.

I got 24 vacation days my first year on the job and I earn 8 hours of sick time a month. I can hold 160 hours vacation time over and take them when I want. But on the flip side I probably work harder than anyone I know. I have been dehydrated about 3 times already this summer but I love what I do.

Yes,and my boss did not put in my pay for 4 days vacation in july..so i am eating beanie weenies this holiday.She took off Friday,so I spent all morning with my blood pressure sky high Friday trying to find someone to help me get this settled.I will get paid Tuesday.Happy Holiday!

well better than staying at home and doing nothing... might as well have some time busying myself and trying to make a living and gaining financial stability too, right? anyway, two days would be enough relaxation respite from all the hoola-baloos of work...
