You should stop doing them favors if they are not appreciative. You dont owe them anything, you are just being a good friend. I found out a long time ago that the more you do for someone the more they want, then they think they dont have to say "THANK YOU" any more. This person isnt your friend I dont think. They are just using you. Put a stop to it now.

I do favors for people because it makes me feel good to help someone else with a problem or a need.

I do not expect anything in return( not even a thank you ), I have already gotten what I wanted which is the good feeling that goes with helping others.

If you are doing a favor with the expectation of something in return, even a thank you, Then you should make that clear before you do anything for someone else.

Not only are you going to stop...but you're also going to tell her why. She deserves to be told. Simply say: You know (her name) I do things for you all the time...and you never show any appreciation or even say thanks. So what I'm going to do is thank you for showing me what kind of friend you are.
The ball will then be in her court. Regardless to however she come back at you, it would be in your best interest to put any trust for her in strict reserve. Do not let her drag you down by getting into any type of stupid argument.
Here is a quote I would like to share with you."When things are not going your way, use it as a chance to show how much class you have".

Hi, Violetmax,
If you do "favors", for others.....
You are suppose to do this, "with all your heart"..!
>>>
However, if you feel that that "someone", is taking advantage of you..
Then is it your turn to react, by tell him/her : how you feel about the situation....
>>>>>
Maby, that someone doesn't realize, he/she... is doing that...
>>>>>
In the future, you must "learn", to be more "assertive"..
>>>>>
you will see, that people will "respect you", for who "you" are, and what you.. do/stand for..don't expect anything in return..
But people are going to respect you.. and you will know..who your friends really are..;))
>>>>>>>
I wish you the best of luck!!

My regards!!

just make sure you are doing good and don't bother that they will acknowledge your efforts. maybe they are trying to see if you are really sincere or not. if you feel good of doing such things and you are able to help them, and feel so happy about what you did, then it is enough already and someday they will realize that you are very true and good.. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

i know it's silly to say but u shouldnt expect something in return. u will be rewarded in another way when u least expect it. or perhaps when u most expect it! they probably do appreciate ur efforts but dont know or dont realize that they need to tell u.

Nothing, just stop trying to please this dolt! Let them ask you why you have "changed". Seems like a selfish person, or maybe you are too darned giving.
