The "CC" means carbon copy. If you want to send a message to someone you can carbon copy it to other people so they get the message as well.
"BCC" is blind carbon copy. People in the BCC field of the message will be able to recieve the message as well; however, people in the To and CC fields, will not know the BCC people are recieving the message.

When you are sending something ''cc'' you are sending a CARBON COPY of your email to other people.
When you are sending something ''Bcc'' you are sending a BLIND CARBON COPY of your email to other people.
The difference between ''cc'' and ''Bcc'' is, the people who receive ''cc'' can see who else received the email (their email addresses). The people who received an email as ''Bcc'' can not see the email address of anyone else you sent the email to.
When you are selecting email address you can specify which catagory to put them in (either ''To '' and ''cc'' everyone can see eachother's email address, ''Bcc'' everyone's email address is hidden.

To- The actual group of people whom the mail is sent to is listed in this field
CC- Carbon Copy-sends a copy of the mail to ids listed in this field
BCC-Blind Carbon Copy-as the name suggests sends a copy of mail to ids listed in this field too but it is not visible to others
You use these options only when you send official mails to intimate that such a mail has been sent to the customer to your team people...
