I heard that the people of Pluto voted to decertify Earth as a planet.

First off, it has been decided on... finalized, and the definition is unlikely to change since most scientists agree on it.
Second, there is nothing to save. It's not like pluto doesn't exist. It has a new name, a new freakin name- more than it's worth if you ask me.
It has always been a Comet and not a planet for many reasons. We were calling it by the wrong name. Now we know it's not a planet and want to stop calling it that. But it also gets SPECIAL RECOGNITION for being a particularly large and round thing that isn't a planet.
People used to call other galaxies nebulae, because they thought they were part of our galaxies. When they realized that they were whole other galaxies, seperate from ours, they called them that. It's not a big deal, science changes.
Pluto was formed at a different time from the other planets and is not where a terrestrial planet should or even could be. It has the same composition as a comet and lies in the Kuiper Belt along with the other short-period comets.
Time to stop crying over it.

No thats the dumbest thing I've seen in my life. They won't change pluto into a planet because everyone wants it to. If they did that would ruin science as a whole. Next we would see petitions saying, "ban gravity!"
Pluto is a dwarf planet, do research and you will agree it has no right to be an official planet. It's way smaller than Earth's moon its nothing like it's neighboring planets (which are gas giants, pluto is ice and rock), Pluto's orbit isn't even in line with the other planets. Some people can't embrace the beauty of science and that it is an ever changing field that is exciting to watch grow.

No. Titan, Europa or Ganymede are better candidates.
Who cares if this moons are on the orbit of a sun or a giant gas planet.

No...Pluto has been dragging on the tail end of our solar system far too long. IT MUST BE ELIMINATED. It is a fraud, a sham planet, unfit to be called planet. It need to attend "planets Anonymous" to realize that it is not a planet, then move on.
