I want to start recording my own music?

I am a guitarist/songwriter and I want to start recording my own music. My price range is $150 or less.

There's a very reasonably-priced Cake Walk program called Guitar Tracks out there... It has a 8-channel studio built into it and is very user-friendly... Also, the music may be burned to CDs if wanted... It also has drums in it...

you can use software to get your stuff by yourself. Try Fruity Loops, Adobe Audition and Cool Edit
