My husband has been getting this strange bump on his lower back for the past few months. It itches..but it only lasts a few hours. It is rather large so at first we thought it was a bug bite....but by the 4th time we knew it was not. After the bump appears and a few hours later he has some pain in his chest. The bump goes away on it's own ...usually before the pain in his chest stops...any thoughts out there?

When does the bump occur? is it in the mornong evening? has he recently been doing anything differently?

I'm no expert but at first it sounded like some type or allergic reaction. do he feel sweating with the chest pain?

I would suggest he go to a dr. chest pain should not be taken lighyly.

No answer for you but I believe he needs medical attention. Nothing makes sense about it unless he has sometning internal going on and that is a mystery what that could be. We have so many parts inside that could be flaring up, like scar tissue if he's ever had surgery...I just would really be concerned that it is going on for so long and such odd symptoms that I would have to check it out. I would go to my family Dr. or to a clinic at least and to the E.R. when the bump is there. Prayers for you!
