Its a well known fact that men have more stamina than women. They can withstand 5 gruelling sets whereas most women cannot. Three-setters among men will make their matches less thrilling.

Because women play till they win 2 straight sets, so the scores in the end can be either 2:0, or 2:!... While men play till they win 3 straight sets, so the scores can be 3:0, 3:1 or 3:2.
That's just the way how rules in tennis are.

because they think woman don't have the stamina. Its an old stupid rule.
