I have seen pictures of Sesshoumaru as a child, but where do the pictures come from? Was there a scene with him as a child in the series???

No..... they do not show Sesshomaru as a kid in either the manga (YET, it isn't over!)or the anime the pics you saw were most likely drawn by an IY fan!!!

yes...there is a part where they have shown sessy when he was young. It's in one of the movies where it introduces the origin of the two swords..tetsusaiga and tensenga, the two swords of the two brothers.I think it's called "Swords of an Honorable Ruler ".Yep...there's the part where Inuyasha's father told Sesshy to protect his bro inuyasha when seshy wanted a dual with his own dad.
