I want to have a simple backyard wedding and my yard is definately big enoung, but there is no cement to dance on and I don't want to put a cement area just to have a wedding. Does anyone know if there is some sort of unpermanent way to solve this problem?

Yes - - - check local listings under 'Party Rentals' or 'Stage Equipment,' there are companies that set up temporary dance floors on most any surface. Next time you are in a banquet room in a major hotel, take a look at the dance floor, you will usually find that it is comprised of two foot by two foot squares - - - in other words, it is in sections so it can be taken up when needed, set down when needed. Have fun !~! !!

There are very cheap and mobile dance floors available from Party Hire companies. They just slot together in pieces, but are very safe.
My uncle has one and I think he hires it out for about $100. They will set it up and take it away etc.
So if you are having caterers for your wedding, ask them about a dancefloor too!
Goodluck!

bears is right. party rental companies can help you. i've seen various versions of temporary dance floors. some are put together like tiles. others are like big heavy tarps. not sure of the price but you dedinitely have some options. goood luck.
