Jesus was sent that the whole world might be saved. John 3:16
Eight reasons Jesus is the way
(if the Bible is true, then these eight reasons must also be true)
1.John 3:16 Jesus is the only Son of God. No other religious leader can claim that, not Mohammed or Buddha or any other.
2.Jesus born of a virgin. Luke 1:26-38. Here, the Angel Gabriel says Jesus is the Son of God. No other leader can claim to be born supernaturally.
3.Jesus led a sinless life. Hebrews 4:15. No other religious leader can claim to be born of the pure blood of God, led a sinless life, and born supernaturally.
4.Acts 2:22. Jesus is attested to by God as His son. False religions do not profess healing and signs of wonders from God. In Acts 4:12, a cripple was healed and 5,000 people were saved because of this miraculous healing. Everyone knew this man was a cripple, and believed.
5.1st Peter 2:24. He bore our sins on the cross, as a human sacrifice, so that we might be saved, healed and restored to God’s grace. By his stripes, we are healed. No other religion offers a blood sacrifice that we might be saved. What is the method otherwise?
6.Romans 1:3-4. Jesus was raised from the dead; 500 people saw him after the crucifixion.
7.Isaiah 7:14, and Isaiah 9:6-7. This is the prophesy 700 years before the birth of Jesus; what he would do and where he would be born, and that He would be born of the tribe of Judah, a direct descendent of David and Abraham. Micah prophesies He will be born in Bethlehem.
8. It’s already been said, but we need to point it out; that since Jesus is attested as the only Son of God, born of pure blood, born of a virgin by a miracle of God, led a sinless life, died on the cross and raised from the dead, and prophesied over, then Jesus is able to say, Himself, in John 14:6 that, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me.”
He is not just the way; He is "the" way. There is no everlasting life except through Jesus; He is the life. And He is the truth. We can philosophize all day long about truth, but there is no other truth. If we try to philosophize some other way, by some false religion or other truth, we are contradicting the words of Jesus, resenting His own words, rejecting Him. There is no way to justify some other false religion, and at the same time believe in Jesus; separately or together.
We are warned about this in Colossians 2:8; don’t be misled by philosophy and empty deception of men.
The issue of Evolution vs. Creation is very simply about Jesus. If they can do away with Jesus, then there is no God and no rules they must obey, and those who wish to do away with God need some other explanation. It is very simple: if you believe in Jesus, then you must believe in the Creation of man by design, not by fluke, but as part of some greater plan.

I've pondered on this, too. Finally, I have accepted what fits my needs as an imperfect, needy person in need of reassurance that I'm loved. I feel more loved if I can relate to a God who has taken on a human form, which is easier for me to relate to instead of a huge Idea.
I've worked backwards from an intellectual liberal way of thinking (Jesus in not the son of God) to a more personal fundamentalist concept (Jesus is literally the son of God.
You're going to get answers that cover the whole spectrum of human belief. I think that one has to read the Bible listen to the opinions of learned scholars, and pick out the words or phrases that meet needs inside yourself. Ultimately, it's you and the Great Unknown God, so build a relationship built on the Bible that feeds YOU the spiritual food you need.

Ultimately there is only one. However, we
have not had that experience, so we can
think in terms of father, son, etc... but in
the end, there's no difference (when your
experience reaches beyond...)
