I think it's a tie between "Devil Dog: The Hound of Hell", a TV movie that came out in 1978, and "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians", the 1964 debut of Pia Zadora.
Both movies are so bad they're good. The theme song from "Santa/Martians" that goes "S-A-N-T-A C-L-A-U-S, Hooray for Santy Claus!" will stick in your head for YEARS!!

In 1998, there was a movie called "The Last Days of Disco". It was like a "Seinfeld" episode without the laughs. It was TRULY about nothing, but seemed smug and self-important, like it had attained some great artistic height. There wasn't a single redeeming character or line of dialogue.

The worst part is I worked at a theatre where it was playing and HAD to watch it. That's right. I was PAID to watch this film and I still felt ripped off. I'll never get those two hours of my life back.

I believe in the future they will use this film to torture prisoners or cause rodents to commit suicide.

Jack Frost. Not the cute Disney version. The version I am talking about has to do with a killer snowman run a muck. He rapes chicks in the shower with his "carrot", and runs around killing everyone. The stupidest movie ever. No even funny at all. Stupidest funny movie, naked space, that movie is stupid, but you will laught your *** off.

I have to go back a few years and there is a LOT of competition in this category but Xanadu with Olivia Newton John take the checkered flag.

Manos: The Hands of Fate. So bad that Frank and Dr F apologized for making Joel sit through it. Can any MiSTy's back me up on this?

♦ "The Dukes of Hazzard" ~ in all fairness, I have yet to watch this movie but decided not to as the reviews pretty much speaked for themselves.

♦ "Glitter" ~ Mariah Carey should just stick to her day job=P

♦ "Fair Game" ~ a turkey of a movie featuring a bland performance by Cindy Crawford

'The Promise' by China director Chen Kai-ge.
It was so ridiculous that the entire theatre roared with laughter though the movie was supposed to end with a tragedy.

A Patchwork American Quilt

the overarching message seemed to be - get married but he'll probably cheat on you.

Not exactly a comedy.
