I am possibly about to do a high school production of the musical 'Sweeney Todd' and we will not be able to have an orchestra on hand. What should we do about music? Is there a place to order a cd of the instrumentals (really good quality)??? Any suggestions???

When you received the play books was the musical score not included? Do you have permission to produce the play?

Usually when you order the parts you can get a "canned" cd of the music. Check where you ordered your scripts from, they should be able to provide the music as well.

Sweeney's music is strong enough that you could do it if you just had a very strong pianist. When you gain the rights to the show they should send that all to you, if your doing without rights or just don't have a pianist go to www.broadwaynewyork.com they have karaokee cd's for countless shows!
