Bummer,

If you have at least one friend, it's definately better than no friends. Give yourself the opportunity to go meet people from other areas. It sounds like the private school folks have their own thing going on, so best just to keep the grades up(you said you're doing, good for you) and join external clubs or groups to the school. I'm sure there's something that interests you, sign up, have fun and meet people.

If they are bugging you, talk to someone as well. Maybe your parents or one of the counsilors or a teacher. I know it sounds stupid but help yourself by talking to somebody. It can get a little stressful I'm guessing.

I would try to get involved in something. That is one thing I wish I would have done during school. I just thought (at the time) that I wanted to get out of there when the day was over! Joining something like a sport will help you to get more involved and active...you might really enjoy it more than you think, plus, you will make more friends than you know! Otherwise, if you don't care for sports, I would do something like Student Council or Yearbook staff. Those groups are very hands on and creative, working with others and you are bound to make some friends! Good luck! I know it may be hard but I promise you it won't last forever! ;)

Hi Ashley,

Sweetheart, having one good friend is better than having a dozen of rainy day friends. Quit worrying about what everyone at school thinks about you. You were created for a purpose, and you are very special. Your life was planned for you before you ever existed in the human state. God created you and preordained you. How very special that makes you. I don't know why the others are making fun of you, but people that do such things, usually have a very lonely existence whether they seem like it or not. It may actually be that your life looks pretty good to them.

Hang in there girl, school is a major hurdle, but life does exist after high school. I'm 44 take my word for it! You are in my prayers.
