I know it's in the ocean and it only comes out at any time in the year but only during rain or snow and in the morn, eve, and night and it is rare but what size is the shadow exactly, like biggest possible (like the stringfish) , big (like the blue marlin), medium (like the salmon), probably not small but if it is please tell me? You have to wait until it is raining or snowing to catch one. It's shadow is medium sized. It rained for a whole day in my town and it took several hours for me to catch one. You might have to be very patient. Good luck.

the coelacanth is acutally a bit larger than a seabasses and you have to be between the hours 6:00 and 9:00 i beleive but it does have do be in the morning

The last one caught was off the coast of Madagascar. So unless you live there just try to let this one go...

i think i caught mine in winter on the shore, while it snowed.
the shadow was huge
