Hello,
Thanks for your prompt reply. I am offering you $400 so you could sell the computer to me, I will be paying through usps money order. This is how it works, as soon as i make payment with usps and my payment is approved, they will notify both of us that, i have made payment of the amount.they will also let you know that, my payment has been approved and the money order will be mailed to your address once the item is shipped and the shipment tracking number sent to them.
I think its better and safe because, once they approve payment, its sure that the seller or whoever thats involved will definately receive the money order and thats why it takes them hours to approve after payment. The money order will be delivered to your door step upon approval of payment by usps.
Payment will be mailed to you by first class mail your address in 3 to 5 business day first class mail, once its processed.
As soon as payment tracking number is given unto you which signifies that payment

Scam. Money orders do not work that way.

Tell him that you want to do COD (cash on delivery): he has to give the money order to the postman in order to get the computer.

This is a scam. The post office has nothing to do with approving any payment. This is a scam to deceive you into sending the goods before you receive payment. The post office is not an intermediary that will approve his payment and then send the money order to you; this is NOT how it works at all. To buy a money order you go to the post office with cash and walk out with a money order and that is the end of it. There is no such thing as "payment approval".

Dump this deal as fast as possible and do not send this scammer anything.

Money orders can work this way! But your best bet is so contact USPS itself. I have only used Western Union. The safest way to do business over a distance is by PAYPAL. The payment is immediately and if the person does not recieve their merchandise they can contact their credit card company (the card they used for Paypal) and have the charges reversed.

I agree with SexyTrojan: it's a scam. Do as she said, as I have also purchased items via money order and this is not how money orders are obtained or processed. COD is the best way to go. Better yet, cut of all communications with this scammer and save yourself some damage to your pride and your pocketbook.

Hmm...I wouldn't trust anything that is out of the norm.
This sounds like a scam to me!
