I see headlings everyday talking about how blacks are outnumbered by hispanics. Does it really matter because we are both minority groups that have nearly the same issues? What are both groups competing for?
BTW, many people don't know that hispanics can be of any race, including black. It realy shouldn't matter if you are black, white, purple, brown, yellow, etc; we are still citizen of the USA

You're right. However, not everyone thinks that way. Latinos and Blacks have become more closely integrated which has increased competition between them. There is more opportunity through cooperation than competition but it requires people to set aside their petty differences and visualize the future.

Just because you are a minority doesn't mean that you have to get along. Hispanics sometimes act like they are better than other people and a lot of them are just as racist as white people were back in the day and as some still are. I know a hispanic woman who has kids by a black man ( a boy and girl) she got pregnant again and her mother told her that she couldn't bring any more black babies into her house.

They are both competing to be the so called minority, get over it, we are all the same, all work, all have families, all have feelings, just because I am white doesnt mean I am better off, get over the hype and be a person!! Feel for your fellow man, the same as you feel for yourself, get off of the government bandwagon and pull together for freedom, the right to vote (after you become a citizen) and the right to happiness, as it says in the constitution, which is by the way, a big part of America, not Mexico, not Africa, but the US of A!! :) Stop trying to get a free ride just because your drivers license does not say, Caucasion, geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez

You are talking about her mother just because they are a minority doesn't mean they cannot be racist. Everyone is racist sadly it's in our genes everyone hates everyone and almost everyone wants to date inside their race only. Even if you THINK you would like to date a person outside your race you might subconsciously reject them somehow.
