you can use a pencil if you want, but it'll look too fake. you may want to spring for a good eyebrow kit at the cosmetics department at your local department store. the kit usually contains Tweezers, Brow Powder Duo, Brow Stencils, Duo Angle/Spooley Brush, Brow Gel, and an Eye Lights highlighting pencil. the most inportant of these will be the eyebrow stencil and the brow powder. applying it with a brush gives your brow the look of real hair and not some waxy pencil. the kit comes with instructions for you. but i wouldn't tweeze pr wax the other side to match. use the kit first, and any strays outside of the stenciled powder, you pluck individually.

that, or you can get them repaired professionally.

just let them be. They always end up being a great story to tell. and once you know it your friends will get used to it until they grow back. Or you can look fake with the makeup kits, or show to others what a bigger deal it is by wearing hats, strange covered up bangs look, or hats. They should accept you for who you r, especially if its temporary.

How about getting some bangs to cover them up?

pluck them to make them thin and even or use an eyebrow pencil if you want them thick. GOOD LUCK!
