when i turn my computer on it says system not found,any different ideas,its an M E windows and i don't have a disk for it,is there a way i can get the system back working with out a disk,thank you

thanks for the answers,but i found the problem,when i put one of the cables back one of the pins wore sticking out so there was no conection so when put the pin back it worked fine.

No, your hard drive is corrupt or took a dump!

ME was the worst OS ever made -- get 2000 pro or XP
It had too many bugs to support long term.

Try knoppix to boot from the CD and see if your drive still has files.

agree with computer_guy check if there is a foppy disk on the foppy frive, take it out....

if doesnt have, you have a corrupt system...

try to run scandisk, using win98 bootable floppy disk...

Make sure there no floppy disk in the drive.
