Look for transgender groups in your area. They are usually listed w/ the gay/lesbian/bi/transgender areas. These contacts can give you a lot of information that is individual to your situation. There are doctors who perform the surgeries, but it is rarely covered by insurance. It is a difficult undertaking, but I admire people who are true to who they are and are willing to take the risk to be who they are. Good Luck!!!

Are you asking about having a sex change? If so there are doctors who perform that kind of surgery but you'll have to do a Yahoo search to find out who.
