Yeah, for Morels in the spring. Can make a lot of money if you find enough.

No, but if you do go with an EXPERT. There are wonderful mushrooms growing against the bottoms of tree trunks in the Blue Mountains of WA. state. But it practically takes a botanist to know what is safe to pick. So study hard, beware, and good luck. Death by mushroom poisoning is very unpleasant, and it happens every year.

I haven't been for a while now, but when I lived in Iowa and Missouri I would go and find them Morels in the spring and they were so awesome!! I also noticed that it was akin to a religious experience when you waded off into a big patch of those rascals!!

Hel#s yeah. But it was a long time ago. I only did it once. After I found out the good ones only come from cow crap, I suddenly realized I wasn't gonna be doing any more shroomin.

ya. i used to go when i was about 10 years old .my grandma lives near mountains in the village and whenever it rained and their was thunder, we would go and collect the white mushroom

however, u must be careful. if they are white with no trace of brown,they are good and you can hunt them

yes, they are the best food ever! roll them in flour and fry them in butter!!!!! YUM!! they are really hard to find though, i just make the hubby and kid go find them and i cook them, its only fair! Just gotta make sure you soak them in water for awhile to get the bugs out!!!!
