it never was the greatest past time it was the cheapest and still is the cheapest past time. why are MLB tickets so freaking cheap? cuzz people go to the stadiums to hook up, talk shiit and take naps..
baseball needs to retire from the sports scene cuzz it just doesn't attract people anymore. do you acutally watch the whole 9 or 10 whatever innings? geez...

Being a baseball fan, I'm no offended. The game is just like any other form of entertainment. It'll appeal to certain people and not others. But if you think the game is for sissies, just think about the game itself. There is a man 60 feet 6 inches away from you. He is armed with a leather baseball and a cannon of an arm that can throw objects like a baseball upwards of 90+ miles/hour. You are standing in an imaginary box and your only form of defense is a wooden stick. A ninety mile/hour fastball is travelling on average 132 feet per second. So that leaves you less than half a second to respond. Is that ball going down the middle? Is that ball coming at you? Can it be going at my head? Maybe my round bat can hit that small round ball. There may not be 300 pound linemen coming at you or a grizzly man ready to cross check you accross the ice but baseball is no where near a game for sissies.

I would like 4 u to get your sissy butt on the field and try to hit a baseball coming at u at 90 plus mph. There are that many "sissies" out there that can say thay can. U must of had a coach who told u that u hit and throw like a sissy, and u gave up playing baseball. Why else would u make a stupid statement like u did. By the way I have coached baseball 4 over 20 yrs, ages 13-19, and I had luxory coaching 3 girls that would really make u look like a sissy

Baseball is a true sport with class. A person like you should let it go and not worry about it.Please watch a major league game and notice the stands are filled with people of all ages and races.These are happy people having a great time in our nations most famous sport.

Well i dont watch that much baseball, buts still better than the nba, nhl, and much better than soccer. NBA finals ratings lost to soccer worldcup. Atleast the world series got better ratings than the world cup in north america. Basketball and soccer are more sissy sports.
